5 stars for the sushi, 3 stars for the entrees (that I’ve tried). My husband and I came here a few times because they have a great selection of sushi at good pricing. I love the Shrimp Lover Roll and Red8 Roll! I love shrimp and cream cheese in sushi, so those were the best ones I’ve tried. One of the times when I ordered the sushi, the tempura shrimp was still warm. Oh my goodness, you have no idea how good that tasted!!! I wish every time I get freshly cooked shrimp that is still warm in my sushi now :) Anyways, the first time we came, we had the normal entrees. They weren’t great at all (fried rice was bland, the food didn’t taste authentic) but gladly the sushi we tried was good enough to motivate us to return. Turns out it is worth it to keep coming back for their sushi!
I was pleasantly surprised by this place! It was my first time trying “real” sushi and I was impressed! The egg drop soup was very comforting and the sushi came out fast and fresh! I highly recommend the pink roll and the amigo roll. I’m definitely coming back to try their cooked dishes like their orange chicken and Tai curry. The prices were very reasonable too!
My husband and I have come here often for their lunch special. It’s our favorite Chinese place in town! Over Valentine’s Day we went for lunch. They gave my husband a homemade crocheted flower to give to me. I can’t imagine the time it took to make those for all the customers! Thank you!
This has quickly become one of my favorite Asian restaurants in town! Not only have I had really good food here at Red 8 but I’ve had very good service as well. There are plenty of super tasty dishes and it’s usually very quick to get the food after ordering. The sushi is very good and my favorites are the Yellowstone roll and the one night stand roll. Overall 10/10
As a southern California gal where sushi is a staple in my life, this place passed as a fantastic experience. The restaurant itself is quite classy and very clean I love the decor. Our waitress was great and sweet to my baby boy. I got the lunch special Idaho & Pink roll 6pcs each, an absolute splendor, I savored each bite and licked the eel sauce from the plate, 100% recommend. I can't wait to become a regular customer
Lunch deal is top tier. Two tasty sushi rolls and a salad or soup for like 12. My wife and I come here all the time now and leave full for only 29.99 after the tip. Amazing food as well!
Amazing sushi. I always get “Sashimi for two” and in comes with a California roll and a special roll. I love their American Dream Roll and miso soup.
This place was really good! We had few different sushi rolls my favorite was the Vegas roll. Also tried some orange chicken which was really good as well. Would definitely come back here for the best sushi in rexburg!
